Cat Complaints

Well this week we had a knock at the door from a neighbour. She had come to complain about our cat, Jeffrey.
Now Jeffrey isn’t a bad cat – He’s got 6 degrees and is a graduate of Oxford University, but like all successful people, he has the skill of being sneaky and secretive. Jeffrey believes that if one is not caught then do as you please!

The neighbour commented that at 6.30 every morning, Jeffrey pops through her cat flap, barges her cat out the way and eats her cats food.  She didn’t mention that when he arrives, he’s armed with a hoover & fireworks to scare the other cat off.

He gives no apology but instead, rather expectant of the food being there on time.
This is of course followed by arriving back at home expecting a 3 course meal!

So many of us go through life seeking after all the good things. Perhaps that’s success at work, a good family, a great financial income, great experiences or great friends.

And these things are all great and many are important, but ultimately, when we arrive home, our heavenly father God offers us so much more.

We may never achieve a great financial income and we may miss out on some great experiences – But even if all else fails or doesn’t work out, God’s gifts to us, God’s offering still remains.

So a spiritual question to reflect on today?

Are you returning home? Because God’s got more in store!

I would love to hear about your response to this blog…Why not send me a message;
