Now, I’m no Bear Grylls but I do consider myself a fairly interesting and adventurous man. I’m open to the odd exploration or discovery. However, there are some things I would NEVER do….Ever.
So here’s my top 3 things that I would NEVER EVER do…
– Eat Candy Floss. It’s pretty much fluff. You may as well empty the contents of your hoover bag and eat that instead! Just saying…
– Arm Wrestle with The Incredible Hulk – Because that would simply be silly. I mean, he has muscles in places that I don’t even have places! His arms are the size of my waist.
– Go Running. I’m being tempted on this one and I think one day I’ll probably end up going. But everything in me is saying ‘Don’t do it!’ – Why? Because frankly, I look like a tortoise in distress.
You know there is one thing that even God promises he will NEVER EVER do. It’s right there in the bible. Pretty clear.
‘I will never leave you nor abandon you.’ (Joshua 1:5)
In fact, God says this quite a lot. He means it and in my experience, he sticks to it.
You may have felt rejection and abandonment before, but listen, God values you. He is your good, loving & heavenly father. He sees potential in you. He’s sticking with you.
He’ll never, ever leave you.
