Jeffrey and the rabbit next door…

So Jeffrey has taken an unhealthy attitude to the rabbit next door. Though, this is no standard rabbit and I believe Jeffrey may have mistaken it for a living fur ball.

Jeffrey sipping tea before his rabbit date…

We find Jeffrey waiting at the bottom of next doors garden ready for the fur-ball of beauty to roll out of it’s cage. Jeffrey looks at it with a curiosity that would be appropriate for it giving birth. His flirting eyes are fixed on the fur ball.

I call his name to avoid the awkward ‘your rabbit is dead’ conversation that is playing through my mind as I observe Jeffrey stalk the rabbit around the garden. Not that Jeffrey would purposely kill the rabbit but I think he’d kill it by mistake.

None the less, the rabbit is quite content. If this were a musical, the rabbit would simply break out into ‘I’m sexy and I know it’ and Jeffrey would reply, ‘Heeeey, sexy lady’

The rabbit simply moves around the garden in a circular fashion, keeping a teasable distance from Jeffrey.

Like Jeffrey’s fascination with the rabbit – We all know the feeling of being interested in or fascinated by someone or something.
I wonder, have you ever looked at the night sky or the views from a mountain, the expansive rows of trees in a forest or simply, a new born baby.

Have you ever found yourself feeling overwhelmed and amazed at what you see?

Let this be a reminder, that behind every one of these things there is a creator God. A God who sees infinate value in his creation. The very same creator God, that created you & me.

And yet, he knows you by name and wants to build that friendship with you.

PS – If anyone has a brown, fur ball type rabbit. I may be in touch…
