Stressed!
You probably know that today/yesterday was results day. Millions of young people across the country collected their GCSE results.
For many young people, they will have experienced months of a nagging mother and being locked in a bedroom secretly singing along to one direction and calling it Geography revision, or playing on Wii fit and calling it PE Revision.
And then there are those who clearly do nothing. Nothing in class, nothing at home. They don’t even disguise anything as revision. They simply do nothing and yet, they get twelve A*’s.
They are the really annoying people. If you are one of them, go read Shakespeare (in German) for 4 hours and then you might be liked again.
It’s a good job that when it comes to approaching God, we don’t have to prove ourselves, there’s no grades to get and there’s no nervous wait. We simply have to believe in him and invite him to walk through life with us.
The bible says that we can approach God with freedom and confidence. (Ephesians 3:12)
You have never lost any value in Gods eyes. Nothing you can do or have done can make God think less or more of you.
Take the opportunity today to approach him with freedom & confidence.
